I particularly love this local wild woodland. It’s left very much to go wild and it’s a beautiful place to paint. This painting celebrates the beautiful bluebells that arrive every year in the late spring. The painting is worked on over a few days using palette knives and scrapers to create layers of colour and texture. The edges are painted Paynes grey and this painting is ready to hang.
