Established Devon artist, Belinda Reynell, invites you into her studio/local gallery to view her new work this year in the forthcoming county-wide arts event, Devon Open Studios.
It is the largest showcase for artists in the county and Belinda Reynell will be joining hundreds of artists opening their doors for 16 days from 9th –24th of September 2017.

Belinda will be taking part for the first time, and is looking forward to her part of the event held at Dairy Cottage, Crazelowman, Tiverton, EX16 7DG. Belinda returned to painting two or three years ago after initially studying Illustration at Chelsea School of Art and Brighton University. Living in Devon she was inspired to paint again by the local landscapes and seascapes and fell in love with oils as a medium.
Painting is a part of Belinda’s everyday life in Devon and she is inspired by the atmospheres and emotions created by the beautiful landscapes and seascapes around her. “I strive to portray my emotions that I feel being in all these stunning locations by using various techniques to create textures, with brushes, palette knives, toothbrushes and even surfing combs!”
Belinda is one of five artists that won Emerging Artists awards this year.
Visiting Devon Open studio is enormously informative because you can see at a glance how the artist works and have the chance to speak to them directly about the creative process. The interaction between artists and viewer creates opportunities that support every stage of artistic production and development.
Belinda Reynell is looking forward to the show and hopes that Devon Open Studios will help raise her profile. Free to the public, the event provides a unique chance to see the new work.
